<aside> 💡 Hey there! Glad to see that you are interested in learning more about opportunities in any of the above topics at Penn! This is largely a compendium of classes and opportunities that I’ve either been a part of, or observed and learned about from other students. I hope this is helpful for anyone unsure of what classes to take or what would be helpful to learn given a set of interests or a desired career path related to these fields. Thanks for giving this a read!

A few disclaimers and notes:
Definitely make sure to ask your advisor, the course instructor, and other upperclassmen who have taken a given course to determine if it is the right fit for you and your interests.
You may run into some terminology and jargon that you haven’t seen before — and that’s ok! This guide is intended for a broad audience, ranging from those who are just starting their journey at Penn to those more experienced with these topics.
The course codes I use below are the 3-digit codes that were in place until the end of Spring 2022 — for the vast majority of courses, just add a 0 as the rightmost digit (i.e. append it to the end) to obtain the new 4-digit number. If not, the course names should be a helpful reference in planning your coursework.
